Dr. Amit Jain is a trained Anesthesiologist and Critical Care Specialist, done his senior residency with GTB Hospital and Apollo hospitals, had a rich exposure of managing oncological cases, especially with difficult airways, well versed with Fiber Optic Intubation, tracheostomy and other airway skills.
Managed the Medical ICU of Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, New Delhi for 10 years.
Seeing Life and Death from close, and seeing the patient die alone in ICU with unmet needs persuaded him to study Palliative Medicine for which he did National Fellowship in Palliative Medicine from IPM , He holds a prestigious Clinical Fellowship in Pain Management from Aesculap Academy , Germany.
He is a regular faculty in many national and internal conferences and is also a Center coordinator for IAPCs Certificate Course in essentials of palliative Care.
- Completed IMPACT training for Oncology professionals by SAARC federation of Oncologist in Association with Cipla Palliative Care and Training Centre.
- Successfully Completed Online Certificate on Palliative Care Always-India from Stanford University.
- Completed Palliative care e-learning Course for healthcare professionals in India conducted by CARDIFF Palliative Care Education
