Depending upon the age of the Patient, general health, cause and type of disability and any other symptoms, Patients may need assisted medical care at their own home under the supervision of their family Physicians/ Pain and Palliative care Specialists or in the OPD/ Day care/ Impatient facility of Dharamshila Rahat Medical Centre for days/ weeks / months.

After understanding the preferences of the Patient & the family, Dharamshila Rahat Medical Centre can make Plan which can be a combination of Home care and care at Dharamshila Rahat Medical Centre.

Before charting out the detailed care Plan, Patients are evaluated in the OPD/At home to understand their Physical, emotional, Psychological and spiritual needs. Detailed discussion is also carried out with the family to understand their beliefs culture and preferences for Assisted Home Care under the supervision of Dharamshila Rahat Medical Centre or indoor care at Centre. In case they choose Assisted Home Care, the team also evaluates the availability of desired infrastructure and trained care givers at home/They would want Dharamshila Rahat Medical Centre to organize the same.
In case they choose to admit Patient in the Dharamshila Rahat Medical Centre, an estimated cost of treatment is given as per the category of room they desire.

Dharamshila Rahat Medical Centre also offers respite care to the family Members/Caretakers to admit their bed ridden loved ones for few days, when they’re tired / exhausted/ burnt out.
